Tiger Woods’ explicit reaction caught on Sky Sports microphone

Tiger Woods’ Ryder Cup weekend went from bad to worse after he was caught on camera involved in a swearing incident.

Woods has struggled throughout the course of this year’s Ryder Cup at Le Golf National in Paris, and is believed to be struggling with a back injury.

In the Saturday afternoon foursome session, Woods missed an approach shot, prompting the 42-year-old to yell ‘f***’ in frustration.

It has been a difficult spell for the US Team, who face an uphill battle to wrestle themselves back into the contest.

The inspired European duo of Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari have both got the better of Woods so far over the last two days of actions.

And Woods, who won the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Course last weekend, has admitted that he is feeling frustrated at his own performances.

“Everything feels pretty good. I’m just pretty p*ssed off, the fact that I lost three matches, and didn’t feel like I played poorly.

“That’s the frustrating thing about match play. We can play well and nothing can happen.

“We ran up against two guys that were both playing well and when one was out of the hole, especially in best-ball, the other one made birdie and vice versa.

“They did that a lot to us. At one point, they made, what, six out of eight birdies on the back nine, and only one person was in the hole at a time. That’s the nature of match play.”

The singles matches are currently well underway, as Thomas Bjorn’s European side aim to close in on the trophy.

Team Europe need just four-and-a-half points from today’s singles to win the Ryder Cup, two years on from their defeat in the States.

As for Team USA, they need a miracle in order to retain the trophy.
