Texaco’s Ho’āla volunteers work to restore environment at Pu’uloa

The project, called Malama Pu’uloa, had volunteers removing invasive plants, cleaning up trash, and restoring the Honouliuli Stream and Kapapapuhi Point Shoreline. The volunteers spent the day with Executive Director Sandy Ward who shared simple actions everyone in the community can do to malama our island home.

Program, Texaco in Hawaii supports local eco-nonprofits. Most recently, a group of volunteers visited one of its partners Hui o Ho’ohonua 808 to restore the natural environment of Pearl Harbor (Pu’uloa).
