Texaco in Hawaii celebrates Zero Emissions Day with a chance to win free gas
Sponsored by Texaco in Hawaii
Texaco in Hawaii is dedicated to offsetting carbon emissions in the environment. To celebrate Zero Emissions Day, Texaco is offsetting 100% carbon on all fuel purchases made at their 58 locations in Hawaii. Plus, they are giving away a years’ worth of gas with 100% of emissions offset through their program Ho’ala. Ho’ala helps to offset carbon emission by up to 30%, but due to the special occasion, they have increased that number to 100%.
In addition to offsetting carbon emissions, Ho’ala also supports local eco non-profit organizations through funding requests and by providing labor for local restoration projects. Some of the non-profits that have benefitted from the Ho’ala program that make caring for Hawaii’s future generations a top priority includes Kupu, Hui O Ho’ohonua, and Malama Learning Center. If you have an eco non-profit organization that needs funding, Ho’ala is now accepting grant requests.
Stop by your nearest Texaco location today to fill gas and help the environment. The first 50 customers to purchase 8 or more gallons of fuel will receive a free, reusable Chico tote bag! While you’re there, find the contest signage next to your pump and scan the QR code to enter for a chance at a year’s worth of gas. The winner will take home $3,125 in Texaco gas cards that can be used at any Texaco station. The contest ends on September 30th, so hurry down to your neighborhood Texaco to sign up!
