Start your home repair projects with City Mill’s drywall patching kits

2020 found many of us spending more time at home and embarking on some home repair projects that may have been long overdue! As we turn a new leaf in 2021, HI Now host Kainoa Carlson met up with City Mill Mililani Store Manager Evile Ieriko to see some of the most common home repair projects anyone can do themselves.
Drywall is one of the most commonly used materials in home construction. Unfortunately, it is also easily damaged! An unexpected gust of wind or even excited children can send a door (and doorknob) slamming back into a wall. Luckily, patching a drywall hole is easier than you think!
Ieriko says drywall holes are a common problem many households face, but it’s also one of the easiest fixes you can do yourself. City Mill offers a kit that has all the supplies needed to patch drywall. And if you’re just looking for one of these specific products, City Mill also sells them individually to supplement your own home repair kit.
With various sizes of patches, all you need to do is estimate which one will cover the hole in your drywall. Remove the paper backing, place it over the hole and smooth! Next up, grab some drywall spackling, and spread it over the patch. It goes on pink so you can see what you’re doing, but dries white. If you can spread cream cheese on a bagel, you can get this job done!
City Mill carries a wide variety of products to help with all your household needs! From jobs big to small, you can do them all. So if you’re looking to start some new home repair projects this year, head down to City Mill to pick up any of these products or order online at CityMill.com.
