Hawaiian Farmers Market curates a selection of unique products made by small Hawaii businesses from across the islands. The website started in 2015, but really got going due to the pandemic in March 2020.
“We noticed that a lot of small businesses were not selling their products online because of roadblocks like the hassle of shipping and creating a website for e-commerce,” Shoop explains. “So we stepped in to create an e-commerce space for them that they could direct their customers too to have product shipped anywhere in the U.S.”
While shopping at HawaiianFarmersMarket.com, if you order before noon, your package will be shipped the same day. It also offers overnight shipping around Hawaii and 2-day shipping to the mainland for no extra charge.
Some of the unique products you can find at HawaiianFarmersMarket.com include Banan mac nut butter, Organic Mac Nuts, HI Spice hot sauce from Maui, and ube crinkle cookies. Shoop says you can also find Wai Meli, an up-and-coming honey brand that’s the best he’s ever tasted.
“We work with over 30 small businesses, and I personally know almost every single one of them,” Shoop adds. “I feel we offer a more of a connection to the products and brands than other retailers offer.”
