Pop Up Makeke returns for third season and Merrie Monarch 2021
Sponsored by Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement
“We’re going to be hosting well over 100 vendors, thousands and thousands of Hawaii-based products,” said Lewis. “There’s going to be everything from accessories to clothes to goodies-– it’s a taste of Hawaii and the diversity that it represents.”
Recently, Pop Up Makeke has also created a partnership with Amazon. This gives the small local businesses it features a worldwide reach.
“It started with just an idea. It was a bold one, but it was people who believed in the idea that really helped make it happen,” said Lewis. “Our goal starting this season is to make sure that Pop Up Makeke stays open so that we continue to share Hawaii with the world.”
