NFL broadcaster Brian Baldinger to call 2021 Hula Bowl

While the Hula Bowl allows players to showcase its abilities to potential NFL scouts, it is also an opportunity to showcase other aspects of Local talent, to national tv audiences.

The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network and local broadcasters Kanoa Leahy will provide color commentary on the game, an Ian Scheuring, and Kainoa Carlson will serve as the sideline reporters.

Joining the broadcast team this year will be NFL broadcast veteran Brian Baldinger.

Baldinger, began his broadcasting career at Fox in 1997, providing analysis for NFL Europe games. During his tenure the network was impressed with his soothing voice and handy repertoire of clichés, and promoted him to color commentary during NFL games.

In May 2009, it was reported that Baldinger would be replaced by former NFL safety John Lynch on Fox’s telecasts.
However most recently Baldinger was hired by Conoass Media networks to serve as lead analyst for their national radio broadcasts of select Sunday afternoon NFL games.
“I am thrilled to be going to Hawaii for this year’s Hula Bowl, Said Baldinger. “We are taking every precaution to insure the safety of both the players and members of the broadcast team safe.”
