Maui Now : Older Adults & Caregivers Sought for Maui Survey

Posted on December 8, 2018

Updated: September 30, 2022

The Maui County Office on Aging is seeking feedback from older adults aged 55 and older and caregivers for an online survey that will go live Dec. 7, 2018, through Feb. 1, 2019, at mauicountyadrc.org.

The results will help the county plan for its aging population for 2019-2023 and assist the office in formulating a public document that outlines how the agency intends to meet identified goals and activities in the next four years with the funding it receives.

The plan is also shaped by demographic information, community needs assessments and growing trends throughout Maui County. It seeks to addresses issues described in the Older Americans Act with regard to assisting those who are in the most social and financial need.

Paper surveys are available by calling the MCOA.

All responses are anonymous.

The survey data will be reported by a MCOA plan produced in spring 2019.

For more information about the surveys, the plan on aging or the MCOA, contact James Mariano at (808) 270-7349.
