Select Saturday Evenings (February 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd):
Maui Chef’s Table – Come experience the Maui Chef’s Table culinary adventure on the grounds of Maui Tropical Plantation! Enjoy 9 courses of unique, farm-fresh cuisine and craft cocktails, all prepared in a gorgeous island setting. Please check their calendar for dates and tickets. $150 per person including tax and gratuity; 6pm – 9:30pm.
February 1st
Wailuku First Friday: Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family fun entertainment on Wailuku’s historic Market Street.
Artist 2 Artist – Henry Kapono & Robi Kahakalau: In this engaging MACC concert series, two artists talk-story, play music, and have fun! Each concert will feature Henry Kapono and a different guest artist in an intimate format that offers the audience a rare opportunity to get up-close and personal.
February 2nd
Family Class at Island Art Party: From 2pm to 4:30pm, reserve a spot in Kihei’s family-friendly painting class. Painting ‘Sandcastle,’ this class is open for ages 8 and up.
9th Annual Maui Open Studios Opening Celebration: Scheduled for all weekends in February, Maui artists and artisans open up their studios and exhibition spaces to show and sell their work to the public as well as “talk story”, connect, and inspire visitors through one-on-one interactions and in some cases, live demonstrations. The entire event is free to the public. This year, there are over 95 participating artists working in various mediums, including ceramics, photography, mixed media, glass, wood, fiber, drawing, painting and more.
February 7th
Pražák and Zemlinsky Quartets: The Pražák Quartet has been at home on music stages worldwide for over 30 years. They are regular guests at the major European musical capitals and have been invited to participate at numerous international festivals. Come see them live at the MACC’s McCoy Studio Theater.
February 8th
Lahaina Second Friday: Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family-fun entertainment on Lahaina’s famous Front Street.
The Merwin Conservancy Presents Richard Powers in the Green Room: The Merwin Conservancy hosts an intimate presentation by Richard Powers, a writer the New York Times Book Review calls “one of our most prodigiously talented” novelists. Powers is the author of twelve novels, most recently, The Overstory, a “monumental novel about trees and people” that is a New York Times best seller.
Tomáš Kubínek: A collision of theatre and music-hall, Tomáš Kubínek’s exuberant one-man show is equal parts comic brilliance, virtuosic vaudeville, & irresistible charm. Come see it live at the MACC’s Castle Theater.

Whale Tales 2019: WHALE TALES is an annual four-day event on Maui that brings together marine experts with thousands of residents and visitors from around the world. Each year since 2006, world-renowned presenters have joined the Whale Trust research team on Maui to collaborate and share the latest findings on humpback whales and their environment. Scientists, photographers, filmmakers and conservationists join the public for a memorable weekend of engaging talks, receptions and exciting whale watches.

Winter Pops Featuring the Maui Pops Orchestra: A unique pops program “Fiddle-Faddle” features the amazing expressive versatility of the violin, backed by the 50+ member Maui Pops Orchestra. Hawaii Youth Symphony: Established as a nonprofit organization in 1964, Hawaii Youth Symphony annually serves over 700 students, ages 7-18, through music-making programs for beginners through advanced performers. Our students perform in settings from string quartets to full symphony orchestras, band, and jazz ensembles.

Hui No’eau Art Affair 2019: Art Affair is Hui No‘eau’s premier art auction and social event benefitting community visual arts education. Held at the historic Kaluanui Estate, the evening event features a live and silent auction, live music, dancing, a gourmet seated dinner by Chef Bev Gannon and Celebrations Catering, signature drinks, and an opportunity to gather and celebrate with a wonderful community of visual arts supporters.
Kainani Kahaunaele: Winner of five Na Hoku Hanohano awards, Kainani is a sought-after performer whose original compositions have appeared in films, documentaries, and TV shows. See her perform live at the MACC’s McCoy Studio Theater.
