Malaekahana Beach Campground opens for family fun camping on Oahu’s North Shore

There are lots of place to camp on Oahu, but if you haven’t been to the Malaekahana Beach Campground, you need to check it out! HI Now host Kanoe Gibson and her family are getting ready to check into a suite and have some fun on the grounds and of course at the beach!
Malaekahana Beach Campground is located on the north shore of Oahu in Kahuku on a beautiful beach front camping facility.
“This is the perfect place to bring your ohana tent camping or vehicle camping,” says Park Manager Julie Moniz. “Don’t want to rough it? Then rent one of our hales or suites!”
Malaekahana Beach Campground just recently did a deep cleaning prior to opening day and is keeping guests safe by minimizing all site counts to five people from the same household.
Right now, you can also get Malaekahana’s Staycation Special for families at its Tutu’s Hale area. The campground is offering this area at $150 per night with a two night minimum. It’s the perfect area for a family to get away and make memories that are sure to last a life time! This special comes with two hales, a pavilion, private restrooms, showers and changing rooms. Tutu’s is also equipped with electricity.
You can book online at Malaekahana.net and after choosing your dates for Tutu’s, you can enter the promo code “Tutus” or click the add button.
Malaekahana also offers its Kama’aina rate of 15 percent off all reservations. This discount is only available when booking online using the promo code “Kamaaina.” There’s also a Hale to Suite upgrade! If you are renting a hale and a suite is available, you will be able to upgrade to the suite at a discounted rate.
