Hawaiʻi Governor David Ige  hosts a press briefing this afternoon, focused on the reopening Hawai‘i’s public schools on Aug. 4.

Joining him are:

  • Dr. Bruce Anderson, Director, Dept. of Health;
  • Catherine Payne, Chairperson, Board of Education; and
  • Dr. Christina Kishimoto, Superintendent, Dept. of Education.

“The August 4 reopening date was one of the reasons we decided to delay the pre-travel testing program for trans-Pacific arrivals here in Hawaii,” said Gov. Ige.
