KualoaGrown Feeds Hawaii with Dept. of Agriculture’s Seal Of Quality
Sponsored by Hawaii State Department of Agriculture
The Hawaii State Department of Agriculture has given KualoaGrown its Seal of Quality, meaning that it is a certified local and sustainable food source. This seal has given KualoaGrown and many other local food producers the community support they needed to get through the pandemic.
“The Seal of Quality is a very good benchmark for the state of Hawaii because the Department of Agriculture supports agriculture, and to have a collective brand like the Seal of Quality is like having a quality standard that we can promote and brag about outside of the state,” said Taylor Kellerman, director of diversified agriculture and land stewardship at Kualoa Ranch.
KualoaGrown has a market at Kualoa Ranch headquarters where you can purchase its products as well as goods from 20 other local farms. The market is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
