Drive Through COVID-19 (file 9.3.20) PC: County of Maui.

In partnership with the County of Maui and Minit Medical, drive-through COVID-19 testing will be held Friday, Jan. 8 at The Shops at Wailea.

At this location, the BD-Veritor Antigen COVID-19 test will be administered via a drive-through event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participants do not need to have insurance or meet any criteria to get tested for free. The county is offering these tests free of charge to help keep the community safe and healthy.

All participants must pre-register by visiting https://www.solvhealth.com/book-online/gK8OQ0. Participants are asked to come to the test site at their designated time, and must wear a face mask and remain in their vehicles.

Motorists are asked to enter from The Shops at Wailea’s South (Mākena side) parking lot entrance off of Wailea Alanui Drive, and exit through the North gate (Kīhei side).

Results will be reported within an hour. All positive antigen tests will need a confirmation PCR at no cost to the patient.

If participants have any problem pre-registering, they are asked to call (808) 667-6161 ext: 7, for help and more information.

NOTE: The free testing cannot be used for inter-island travel or any travel testing, but is available for travelers participating in the Travelers Transpacific Voluntary Second Test Program.
