City Mill educates about the versatility of vinegar

In the garden, vinegar is a great eco-friendly way to kill weeds. Fill a spray bottle with concentrated vinegar and spray it directly on weeds or in the cracks where weeds can grow. In a few days you should see them start to die out.
Bathrooms can sometimes become covered in mildew. Take the vinegar and spray it onto the affected areas and leave for an hour. Take a sponge or brush and scrub the mildew off the tile grout or shower curtain. Rinse with water, and your bathroom will look brand new!
Cutting boards are a great tool in the kitchen but often get very dirty over time. Use vinegar to remove dense odors and naturally disinfect the board.
If you have young kids, vinegar is a great way to remove stains from articles of clothing. If it’s a light stain, spray the vinegar directly on the stained area and throw into the washing machine. If it’s a heavy stain, fill a bucket with water and add 2 cups of vinegar. Let the clothing soak for an hour or two before washing!
