The Chicago Sports Summit Foundation supports nonprofit organizations in Chicago which provide children and young adults opportunities to participate in sports and other activities while gaining critical skills for work, college and an independent life. It recognizes the need to invest in our youth for the long-term health and success of Chicago. The Foundation also supports research at Rush University Medical Center with the goal of improving patient care.
About The Foundation
The Chicago Sports Summit Foundation supports not-for-profit organizations that adhere to its mission: to support at-risk youth and residents of Chicago. Some of the organizations supported by the Foundation have included:
In 2016, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, the #5 ranked orthopedic program in the country* and team physicians for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Fire Soccer Club, created the Chicago Sports Summit. Now in its third year, the Summit features local and national sports figures, professional team management and sports industry executives discussing important and relevant topics. Proceeds from the Summit are donated to the Chicago Sports Summit Foundation.
