Hess joins St. Vincent’s Anderson Family Practice

ANDERSON — St. Vincent Medical Group – Anderson Family Practice welcomes Molly Hess, a certified family nurse practitioner. She joins Drs. George Agapios, Scott Green, Chad Lamb and Charles Purdy; and nurse practictioners Joann Dinger, Shelly Roberts and Daniella Stafford in the practice at 141 W. 22nd St.

Hess graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She earned her Master of Science in nursing – family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University and her certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

As a family nurse practitioner, Hess provides care to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on preventative health. Anderson Family Practice offers same-day appointments and early-morning appointments.

Orthodontist receives instructor certification

PENDLETON — Dr. Kenneth Lau, of TMJ Treatment Center in Pendleton, received certification as a senior master instructor from the International Association for Orthodontics.

The certification was presented to Lau during the IAO annual meeting in Kauai, Hawaii. Lau also participated as a featured presenter during the conference.

Primrose hires new executive director

ANDERSON — Primrose Retirement Community of Anderson has hired Kari Alcorn to be its new executive director.

Alcorn brings eight years of skilled nursing experience with her to Primrose.

“This is a wonderful place to work,” Alcorn said in a press release. “Everyone I have encountered has been wonderful, and it is easy to see that Primrose truly cares about its residents and wants to make their lives better in every way.”

The Primrose of Anderson Community, 1118 W. Cross St., consists of eight townhome villas, 36 independent living apartment homes, and 32 assisted-living apartment homes, and 24 memory-care apartment homes.

Local dealership wins national award

ANDERSON — Ed Martin Toyota Anderson was recently presented with the President’s Award from Toyota Motor North America Inc.

The award recognizes Toyota dealerships throughout the U.S. that achieve high standards of performance in all facets of the automotive dealer profession, including vehicle and parts sales, service and customer satisfaction.

Indiana Michigan Power adds affairs manager

MUNCIE — Rob Keisling has joined Indiana Michigan Power as community affairs manager for the Muncie District.

Keisling will serve as I&M’s primary community and economic development contact within its service territory in Delaware, Grant, Randolph, Blackford, Jay and Madison counties.

For the past eight years, he has served as director of operations for Minnetrista in Muncie. Previously, Keisling worked in the insurance industry, where he rose to operations manager of an area independent insurance agency.
