Interview preparation workshops

During the interview preparation workshops, we discuss commonly asked questions that help you make
the most of the interview opportunities you will encounter. During the interview skills development
workshop, you will learn how to use your ePortfolio in the most impactful manner to describe your
skills set and employability.

As a PGP-BABI participant, you get to access the Great Learning Job Board during and after you have
graduated from the program. Our team posts round 30-40 job opportunities each month for our
candidates. We also have tie-ups with 200+ organizations that are looking to build their analytical
capabilities and all this information is timely posted on the job board for our learners and alumni
to act upon.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGP-BABI) is an Analytics focused management
Program designed and delivered by Great Lakes Institute of Management. Since this is an executive
Program that prepares professionals for managerial careers in Analytics, a prior work experience of
at least two years is required. However, there is no upper limit on the amount of prior work
experience.

The total course comprises about 440 hours of learning comprising 240 hours of classroom learning
and 200 hours of online/off classroom. Classes happen on one weekend every month.

The program follows classroom sessions on one weekend a month. Check the Batch Commencement Details
(under Deadlines above) for details.

PGP-BABI is unique in curriculum design on the following fronts:

  • The curriculum covers general management subjects and provides a detailed study in analytics
  • The courses are taught by eminent faculty from Great Lakes and senior executives from the
    analytics industry
  • The Program provides the candidates with hands-on exposure to tools such as R, Tableau, and
    SAS.
  • The blended delivery model (classroom and online) of the Program makes it convenient for
    working professionals to attend classroom sessions without having to quit their jobs and also,
    pace their learning through online sessions.

The Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGP-BABI) equips you with the relevant knowledge
and skills to pursue managerial careers with best of analytics companies or move the analytics roles
within your existing organization.

PGP-BABI follows a blended learning model wherein classes are conducted at Great Lakes
campuses/Centers (in Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai & Pune) and also
through an online learning management system.

The certificate for the Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics will be awarded by Great Lakes Institute of Management.

The academic modules would be taught by senior faculty from Great Lakes. In addition to to Great
Lakes faculty, senior leadership from the industry would also participate in delivering certain
topics/modules.

The classes for Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai & Pune will be held at
their respective Campuses/Centers in the city.

The format of the Program does not lend itself to accreditation from AICTE/UGC. However, Great Lakes
is an AICTE accredited institution and is one of the few colleges in India to receive accreditation
from AMBA (Association of MBAs, UK).

Chennai/ Gurgaon/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Mumbai/ Pune Program Fee

The total Program fee of Rs.3.95 lacs plus GST and can be paid at one go or according to the
following payment schedule:

  • Payment of Rs.50,000 at the time of acceptance of admission
  • Payment of the remaining amount in 3 equal installments

No accommodation is provided at our learning centers. Outstation candidates are requested to arrange
accommodation themselves.

We advise all candidates to have complete information before enrolling in the program. No refund
requests will be accepted once the fee has been paid. However, there is a deferment policy where a
candidate can choose to defer his enrollment to a future batch.

All the requisite learning material is provided online to candidates through the Learning Management
System. Candidates are free to purchase any reference books or material as may be recommended by the
faculty.

We believe that learning should continue and hence, all the learning material in terms of lectures
and reading content would be available to the candidates upto one year post completion of Program.

PGP-BABI is a holistic and rigorous Program and follows a continuous evaluation scheme. Candidates
are evaluated in the courses they undergo through case studies, quizzes, assignments or project
reports.

The career support activities at Great Lakes PGP-BABI begin with helping candidates prepare for
analytics careers through sessions conducted by industry experts on careers in analytics and resume
building. We also provide our candidates and alumni with access to any opportunities that analytics
companies share with us. There are several examples of PGP-BABI candidates and alumni who have
capitalized these opportunities to move to new roles or companies in analytics. Please be informed
that Great Lakes PGP-BABI does not offer any placement process as a part of the program.

All interested candidates are required to apply to the Program through the online application form.
A panel of Great Lakes faculty evaluates all applications and therein, the shortlisted candidates
are contacted for interviews. The interviews may be conducted in person or through telephonic or
video conferencing.

Great Lakes PGP-BABI Program has tie-ups with HDFC Credlia, Avanse Education (DHFL Group), MoneyTap,
Credifiable, and Axis Bank for providing education loans.

Till date, we have launched 40 batches across the centers.

The candidates need to bring their own laptops, the technology requirement shall be shared at the
time of enrollment.
