Best Content Marketing Examples – April 2017
Google hacks, car cradle’s and challenging perceptions. These are the 4 best content campaigns of April 2017…
Heineken’s Worlds Apart – http://bit.ly/2qiT3wV
Renault’s Dream Cradle – http://bit.ly/2qiXcAW
Burger King’s Connected Whopper – http://bit.ly/2qgi5hM
Samsung’s Smart Billboard – http://bit.ly/2qiXQ1g
First we have a really powerful experiment from Heineken. The beer brand carefully selected each pair of people, ensuring they had polar opposite views. Then the pairs bonded by building furniture together, before their conflicting opinions were revealed to each other – posing the question “will you go, or stay and discuss your differences over a beer?” Great work.
Secondly, I wouldn’t know, but apparently a car journey does wonders to get your baby to sleep. So Renault created the “Dream Cradle”, which simulates a car journey in cradle form, gently rocking your little one back to the land of nod.
Then there’s the short, but very clever ad from Burger King, designed to trick your Google Home and Android devices to explore the Whopper burger’s ingredients, by saying…. The ingredients copy in Wikipedia was edited specially for this campaign, so the information you get is exactly what the brand wants you to hear. Slightly immoral, but a daring move by the fast food chain.
Finally, billboards are back. In what looked like a regular watch advert, Samsung in Israel showed off the style and function of their new Gear S3 smartwatch to the unsuspecting public. And even got them involved in the ad.
