Aoki Restaurants Serve Up Father’s Day Favorites
HI Now host Kainoa Carlson and restaurateur Kevin Aoki taste Rocky Teppanyaki’s traditional Father’s Day feast, with lobster, steak, and all the dipping sauces.
All of the Aoki restaurants also offer a 3-whiskey flight with whiskeys hand-picked from hand-picked Kentucky barrels. They also sell bottles of Knob Creek whiskey, available at any Aoki restaurant for $50, and limited edition Komagatake whiskey, which is available for $150.
“What makes whiskey special is it sits inside the barrel and collects all the wood flavor, so when you go and taste it, every barrel tastes different,” said Aoki. “When you come and do the flights, you’ll taste that each flight tastes different.”
